Formed in 2012 under the guidance of Dr Malcolm Moffat, the Northern Doctors Chorus is a choir of doctors and senior medical students from the North East. Current members are based in hospitals and GP practices in Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside, North Tyneside, Northumberland, County Durham and Teesside. We gave our debut performance at Saint Nicholas’ Cathedral in December 2012, and have since performed at All Saints’ Church, Gosforth, St. George’s Church, Cullercoats, St. John the Baptist Church, Grainger Street, St. George’s Church, Jesmond, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Newcastle and even the imposing Newcastle City Hall! In March 2016 we performed at Stannington Church, near Morpeth, and then in April we performed Will Todd’s Mass In Blue at St. Nicholas’ Cathedral in aid of the Newcastle West End Food Bank
